The uppercase is LARGE and scrolly, the "lowercase" is really just standard, blocky uppercase letters. My two cents: In my "Four Categories of Fonts" blog post, I would consider this font to fall into the FUN category. This font comes in two styles: Regular and Outline They are sized the same way, so all descriptions and sizing for Hemera also apply to Hemera Outline This font is VERY thick lined, and while crafted to work in all metals, I do not recommend the 7.5mm and 10mm sets for stainless steel as it will be very difficult to fill in color. That being said, I had a much easier time coloring in the Hemera Outline sets in 7.5mm and 10mm in stainless steel (as opposed to regular Hemera). Hemera and Hemera Outline are PERFECT for soft metals in all sizes! This wide font is PERFECT for leather work!! This font has a spooky, old timey feel to it, right? I'd find myself grabbing for it for all my witchy, spooky, haunting, Halloween themes, too! But don't be afraid to try it as a Christmas theme!! And, as you can see from each of my examples, there are SO MANY ways this font can be used for ANY theme!! Check out the "educational Rockstar", "Ground Control to Major Tom", "Never go in against a Sicilian when Death is on the line", "Sometimes I have no idea what I'm doing" examples! No themes there, and these font sets are INCREDIBLE!!

Be advised, to use stainless steel as your stamping blanks, you will need to have a solid base/stamping post and heavier mallet, which will require you to have different stamping supplies. Any aluminum blank, especially the super adorable shapes, is from Birds Eye Blanks. Our font metal stamps are programmed to be as close to the original typeset fonts as possible, although there may be slight variations from typeset to actual stamp based on a variety of programming and stamping needs. Please use the actual stamped images provided on our site and in each listing to see the stamped version.Sizing for Font Fixation's font metal stamps is ALWAYS based on the TALLEST letter in the UPPERCASE alphabet. This does not mean that all uppercase letters are sized the same. The entire set (uppercase and lowercase) are sized according to the Foundry's intention for their font. This means there may be a HUGE disparity between how tall an uppercase set is, vs how small the lowercase set is -- and this should be noted and seen by you in the listing example of every font. The bigger and more detailed the design, the more difficult to stamp, especially in hard metals like stainless steel. Because of this, we try to note in the Product Description if something is best for soft metals specifically, despire being "RATED" for stainless steel. Knives are hardened steel and there really isn't a brand of metal stamps that should ever be used on knives... including ours at Font Fixation. While our large, 12mm designs (also called Fat Bottom Shanks, or FBS) are RATED for steel, some very detailed FBS images are SUPER large, and some stainless steel stampers with lightweight hammers may find these large, detailed stamps very difficult to hammer in stainless steel and get a full impression.Every image on this site that is hammered in stainless steel was hammered with a 2lb mallet, on a stamping post with no buffer between the anvil and the post. Stamps purchased from "destash" or "second-hand" groups are not covered under warranty."Simple Dimple" stamps are manufactured on 1/4" shanks and are made to fit in most ring jigs. Simple Dimple designs usually fit on 1/4" wide cuffs, because all Simple Dimple design stamps are .5mm-5.5mm, and 1/4" cuffs are 6mm wide."Hefty Hitter" stamps are manufactured on 3/8" shanks."Fat Bottom Shanks" are stamps that are manufactured on 1/2" shanks. While these size design stamps are rated for stainless steel use, some of these designs are quite detailed and may require the "tilt-and-tap" method to get a full, solid impression. We always recommend using a solid surface that has force transferred directly to the floor (such as a stamping post), using a 2lb steel mallet, and not having any sandbag or such force deadening agent under your anvil. If you are a seasoned and skilled stainless steel stamper, you should have little-to-no difficulty with our larger/more detailed stamps in stainless steel.
