Little Thumper

Not all ring jigs are created equal. Take this one, for example: this jig does not need a Thumper... but maybe your ring jig looks a lot like this one... but has a nut on top that makes it impossible to hit the stamp onto your ring. When that happens, you need a "Little Thumper".  

This 1/4" shank has an easy to hammer top/bottom that allows you to elongate your font or design stamps that are hammering their image onto the ring surface.
